Overview

The Willa Cather Dining Center at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln is a two-story facility designed to meet students’ diverse dining needs. The lower level features a C-Store offering grab-and-go items and Husker Hoagies, a sandwich shop with customizable options. This floor also includes a large production kitchen with walk-in coolers, freezers, and prep areas to support high-volume food service.

The second floor houses a student cafeteria with 10 serving platforms offering various cuisines and made-to-order meals. Its Distributed Dining layout places seating throughout the serving stations for a more social dining experience. A central salad station highlights fresh, healthy options, while a special diets platform accommodates students with allergen-free and gluten-free dietary needs.
